Terms of Service

Effective August 5, 2026. These terms govern your use of jamdtech.com and the apps and services offered by JAMD Technologies.

1. Agreement

By using this website, or any app or service we provide, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.

2. What we provide

JAMD Technologies offers software applications and hosted monitoring services. Some are free, some are paid, and some are distributed through third-party app stores. Products distributed through an app store are also subject to that store’s own terms.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. We may suspend an account that is being used to break these terms or the law.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use our services to break the law or infringe someone else’s rights.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or another user’s data.
• Interfere with, overload, or disrupt the services or the infrastructure behind them.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or resell our software except where the law expressly permits it.
• Use automated means to scrape or bulk-download content without our written permission.

5. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

Paid services are billed in advance on the cycle shown at the time of purchase and renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Purchases made through an app store are billed and refunded by that store under its policies, not ours.

We may change pricing, and will give reasonable advance notice before a change affects an existing subscription.

6. Monitoring services — what they are and are not

Our monitoring services are diagnostic aids. They depend on networks, third-party systems, and data sources outside our control, and they may miss events, report late, or produce false positives. You should not rely on them as your only safeguard against certificate expiry, security vulnerabilities, or connectivity loss, and they are not a substitute for your own operational controls.

7. Availability

We work to keep our services running, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability. We may take services offline for maintenance, and we may modify or discontinue a feature. If we discontinue a paid service entirely, we will give you reasonable notice and refund any prepaid, unused portion.

8. Intellectual property

We retain all rights in our software, branding, and site content. Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use our software for its intended purpose. You retain ownership of any data you put into our services, and you grant us only the licence needed to operate the service for you.

9. Third-party services

Our services may link to or integrate with systems we do not control. We are not responsible for those services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

Except where the law does not allow it, our services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JAMD Technologies will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of our services. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the services is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim arose, or (b) USD 100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold JAMD Technologies harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the services or your breach of these terms.

13. Termination

You may stop using the services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms, if required by law, or if continuing to provide the service becomes impractical. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive it.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [STATE], United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts located in [STATE] will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material we will update the effective date and give notice through the service or by email. Continuing to use the services after a change takes effect means you accept the revised terms.
